The guide behind the post
Run Higgsfield offline on your PC
You can run Higgsfield on your PC without relying on the internet. I’m sharing two open-source projects that people built so you can install and try it locally. By the end, you’ll know where to copy the repo links and how to ask Claude to set it up for you.
What you need
3 things- A decent GPU
- A place on your PC to install the tools (a folder)
- Access to Claude to handle installation
The steps
3 steps-
Know what each project does
Two people open sourced Higgsfield work so it runs on your PC without the internet.
First is Freefield. It opensourced the entire Higgsfield creative studio and made it run on ComfyUI.
Second is Openjutsu. It swaps you into any clip, even the uncensored ones, using Minimax H3.
-
Copy the repo links (exact URLs)
To try both, copy these two repo urls and ask Claude to install them in a folder. It’ll handle the rest. Just ensure you have a decent GPU.
-
Ask Claude to install both repos into a folder
Copy the two URLs, then ask Claude to install them in a folder.
On screen, you should see Claude starting an installation process for each repo, then downloading the needed files and setting things up for you locally. If it asks for GPU or environment details, provide what it requests so it can configure it correctly.
Checklist while you wait: - Claude starts installation for Freefield - Claude starts installation for Openjutsu - You are installing into one folder location you picked
Tips
- If your GPU is not decent, the setup or runtime can fail. The post is clear: ensure you have a decent GPU.
- Expect Claude to do the heavy lifting after you provide the repo URLs. If Claude asks for more info, give it exactly what it requests so it can finish the installation.
Try next
- Try running Freefield on ComfyUI once installation completes.
- Try Openjutsu to swap into a clip using Minimax H3.
That is the whole thing
If a step did not work the way I said, tell me in the comments on the post: I fix these.
