Download open-weight Hugging Face models
The guide behind the post
Download open-weight Hugging Face models
You will end up with open-weight LLM files you can download using torrents, instead of waiting on slower direct downloads. The point is speed and availability, especially when you cannot find certain models on Hugging Face anymore. Just follow the exact two sites below and use their model search and torrent download flow.
The steps
2 steps-
Save the two model download sites
Note these two websites down so you can use them quickly later.
First: Pirateface.co
Second: huggingbay.xyz/
-
Search for the model name and download as torrents
Now go to these websites. Type the model name. Then download them as torrents. It’s that simple.
On screen, you should see a place to enter the model name, and then a download flow that uses torrents.
Try next
- Try a model you already know is missing or hard to find on Hugging Face.
- If you find a direct link, comment the website for direct links.
That is the whole thing
If a step did not work the way I said, tell me in the comments on the post: I fix these.
